FAQs

It teaches a precise naivedya/bali-vinyāsa: which food items (turmeric-mixed food and ghee-rice) are to be placed, for which deity-purpose (Indra and Indra-jaya), and exactly where (the Rakṣas-associated corner-compartment and beneath it).

It preserves applied ritual engineering—mapping deities, purposes, substances, and spatial placement within a mandala/koṣṭhaka grid—showing the Agni Purana’s wide coverage beyond mythology into step-by-step liturgical procedure.

Correctly offering and placing naivedya according to prescribed quarters is presented as ensuring ritual efficacy—securing protection from obstructive forces (Rakṣas associations) and attaining intended results such as victory/ascendancy (jaya) through properly directed worship.
