Verse 7

Avadhuta

स्वैरं स्वैरविहरणं तत्संसरणम् । सांबरा वा दिगंबरा वा । न तेषां धर्माधर्मौ न मेध्यामेधौ । सदा सांग्रहण्येष्ट्यश्वमेधान्तयागं यजते । स महामखो महायोगः ॥७॥

स्वैरम् । स्वैर-विहरणम् । तत्-संसरणम् । सांबरा । वा । दिगंबरा । वा । न । तेषाम् । धर्म-अधर्मौ । न । मेध्य-अमेध्यौ । सदा । साङ्ग्रहणी-इष्टि-अश्वमेध-अन्त-यागम् । यजते । सः । महा-मखः । महा-योगः ॥७॥

svairaṃ svairaviharaṇaṃ tatsaṃsaraṇam | sāṃbarā vā digambarā vā | na teṣāṃ dharmādharmau na medhyāmedhyau | sadā sāṅgrahaṇīṣṭyaśvamedhāntayāgaṃ yajate | sa mahāmakho mahāyogaḥ ||7||

তাদের বিচরণ স্বেচ্ছাময়; তাদের গতি স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত ভ্রমণ। তারা বস্ত্রধারী হোক বা দিগম্বর। তাদের কাছে ধর্ম-অধর্ম নেই, শুচি-অশুচিও নেই। তিনি সদা অন্তিম আহুতি পর্যন্ত যজ্ঞ করেন; তিনি মহামখ, মহাযোগী॥৭॥

Free (is) their wandering; their movement is spontaneous roaming. Clothed or sky-clad (naked). For them there are no (categories of) dharma and adharma, no pure and impure. Always he performs the sacrifice that culminates in the Aśvamedha and the final offering; he is the great sacrificer, the great yogin.
