वीरभद्रं तताभूतं तथाभूतं हंतुकामं पुरंदरम् । तव्रमाणस्तदा विष्णुर्वीरभद्राग्रतः स्थितः
vīrabhadraṃ tatābhūtaṃ tathābhūtaṃ haṃtukāmaṃ puraṃdaram | tavramāṇastadā viṣṇurvīrabhadrāgrataḥ sthitaḥ
ভয়ংকর অবস্থায় বীরভদ্রকে এবং বিপদগ্রস্ত পুরন্দর ইন্দ্রকে দেখে, তাঁকে রক্ষা করতে ইচ্ছুক বিষ্ণু তখন বীরভদ্রের সম্মুখে দাঁড়ালেন।
