शस्त्रैः स्वैर्जध्नुरात्मानं स्वानि देहानि चिच्छिदुः । केचित्करतले गृह्य शिरांसि स्वानि चोत्सुकाः
śastraiḥ svairjadhnurātmānaṃ svāni dehāni cicchiduḥ | kecitkaratale gṛhya śirāṃsi svāni cotsukāḥ
তারা নিজেদের অস্ত্র দিয়ে নিজেরাই নিজেদের আঘাত করল এবং শরীর ছিন্নভিন্ন করে ফেলল। কেউ কেউ উৎসুক হয়ে নিজেদের কাটা মস্তক হাতের তালুতে ধারণ করল।
