नारदेन तदा ख्यातो वीरभद्रस्य तद्वधः । न रोचते च तद्वाक्यं वीरभद्रस्य वै तदा
nāradena tadā khyāto vīrabhadrasya tadvadhaḥ | na rocate ca tadvākyaṃ vīrabhadrasya vai tadā
তখন নারদ বীরভদ্রের সেই বধবৃত্তান্ত বললেন; কিন্তু সেই বাক্য তখন বীরভদ্রের মনঃপূত হল না।
