अपुत्रिण स्तथा रूक्षास्तेजोहीना द्विजोत्तमाः । भारद्वाजसगोत्रेयाः प्रवरैः पंचभिर्युताः
aputriṇa stathā rūkṣāstejohīnā dvijottamāḥ | bhāradvājasagotreyāḥ pravaraiḥ paṃcabhiryutāḥ
তদ্রূপ দ্বিজশ্রেষ্ঠদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ অপুত্রক, রূক্ষস্বভাব ও তেজোহীন হন। তাঁরা ভারদ্বাজ-গোত্রীয় এবং পাঁচ প্রবরের সঙ্গে যুক্ত বলে গণ্য।
