व्यास उवाच । संप्राप्य धर्मवाप्यां च यः कुर्यात्पितृतर्पणम् । तृप्तिं प्रयांति पितरो यावदिंद्राश्चतुर्दश
vyāsa uvāca | saṃprāpya dharmavāpyāṃ ca yaḥ kuryātpitṛtarpaṇam | tṛptiṃ prayāṃti pitaro yāvadiṃdrāścaturdaśa
ব্যাস বললেন—যে ব্যক্তি ধর্মবাপীতে পৌঁছে পিতৃতর্পণ করে, তার পিতৃগণ চতুর্দশ ইন্দ্রের কাল পর্যন্ত তৃপ্তি লাভ করেন।
