अथ दैत्यः समुत्तस्थौ भृशं बद्धोपि भूतले । दृष्ट्वोत्थितं ततो दैत्यं पातयंतं सुरोत्तमान्
atha daityaḥ samuttasthau bhṛśaṃ baddhopi bhūtale | dṛṣṭvotthitaṃ tato daityaṃ pātayaṃtaṃ surottamān
তারপর সেই দৈত্য ভূমিতে কঠোরভাবে বাঁধা থাকলেও প্রবলভাবে উঠে দাঁড়াল। উঠে এসে দেবশ্রেষ্ঠদের পতিত করতে উদ্যত তাকে দেখে (সকলেই বিস্মিত হল)।
