sarvavidyāsu niṣṇātā vedavedāṃgapāragāḥ | ṛgvedeṣu ca niṣṇātā yajurvedakṛtaśramāḥ

তাঁরা সকল বিদ্যায় নিষ্ণাত, বেদ ও বেদাঙ্গের পারগামী ছিলেন। ঋগ্বেদে দক্ষ এবং যজুর্বেদের কঠোর অধ্যয়নে পরিশ্রমসাধিত ছিলেন।
