ज्येष्ठं त्वां न विदुः सर्वे विष्णुमायावृताः खिलाः । ततो ब्रह्मा स रोषेण क्रुद्धः प्रस्फुरिताननः
jyeṣṭhaṃ tvāṃ na viduḥ sarve viṣṇumāyāvṛtāḥ khilāḥ | tato brahmā sa roṣeṇa kruddhaḥ prasphuritānanaḥ
“বিষ্ণুর মায়ায় আচ্ছন্ন সকলেই আপনাকে জ্যেষ্ঠ (শ্রেষ্ঠ) বলে চেনে না।” তখন ব্রহ্মা রোষে ক্রুদ্ধ হলেন; তাঁর মুখ ক্রোধে কাঁপতে লাগল।
