विदर्भनृपतिः सोऽथ कृत्वा युद्धं सुदारुणम् । प्रनष्टोरुबलैः शाल्वैर्निहतो रणमूर्धनि
vidarbhanṛpatiḥ so'tha kṛtvā yuddhaṃ sudāruṇam | pranaṣṭorubalaiḥ śālvairnihato raṇamūrdhani
তারপর বিদর্ভের সেই রাজা অত্যন্ত ভয়ংকর যুদ্ধ করলেন; কিন্তু যাদের মহাবল অক্ষুণ্ণ ছিল সেই শাল্বরা যুদ্ধের চূড়ায় তাকে বধ করল।
