Transliteration

ví na indra mṛ́dho jahi nīcā́ yaccha pṛtanyatáḥ | yó asmā́m̐ abhidā́saty ádharaṃ gamaya támaḥ ||

Translation

হে ইন্দ্র! আমাদের জন্য এই পীড়া-উৎপীড়ন দূর কর; তাদের আঘাত কর এবং যুদ্ধপ্রবণ শত্রুকে নীচে দমন করে রাখ। যে আমাদের দ্বেষ করে ও আমাদের আক্রমণ করতে চায়, তাকে অধর অন্ধকারে নিক্ষেপ কর।
