Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
It teaches that wholehearted bhakti directed to the Shiva-Linga brings siddhi—outer fulfillment and inner alignment—because Shiva, the Pati, responds to the devotee’s sincere intention held in the heart.
The Linga is Saguna worship that leads the mind to the transcendent Shiva; by honoring the Linga with devotion, the devotee’s wishes become purified and are granted in a Shiva-centered way.
Perform Linga-puja with mahābhakti—offering water, bilva leaves, and mantra-japa (especially the Panchakshara, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) while holding a clear, pure intention in the heart.
