धर्मेणैव हि पापानामपनोदनमीरितम् । शिवोद्देशकृतो धर्मः क्षमः पापविनोदने

Transliteration

dharmeṇaiva hi pāpānāmapanodanamīritam | śivoddeśakṛto dharmaḥ kṣamaḥ pāpavinodane

Translation

নিশ্চয়ই বলা হয়েছে—পাপের অপনোদন কেবল ধর্মের দ্বারাই হয়। আর যে ধর্ম ভগবান শিবকে উদ্দেশ্য করে, তাঁকেই নিবেদন করে করা হয়, তা পাপ বিনাশে সম্পূর্ণ সক্ষম।
