दुर्बुद्धयश्च तच्छिष्यास्सुतास्तेषां तथैव च । गौतम परिभर्त्स्यैव प्रत्यूचुर्धिग्वचो मुहुः
durbuddhayaśca tacchiṣyāssutāsteṣāṃ tathaiva ca | gautama paribhartsyaiva pratyūcurdhigvaco muhuḥ
সেই দুর্বুদ্ধিরা—তাদের শিষ্যগণ ও তদ্রূপ তাদের পুত্রদেরসহ—গৌতমকে তিরস্কার করল এবং বারংবার ধিক্কারপূর্ণ বাক্যে প্রত্যুত্তর দিল।
