ज्योतिर्लिङ्गमाहात्म्य-प्रस्तावना तथा सोमनाथ-प्रसङ्गः

सोमेश्वरश्च नामासीद्विख्यातो भुवन त्रये । क्षयकुष्ठादिरोगाणां नाशकः पूजनाद्द्विजाः

তিনি “সোমেশ্বর” নামে খ্যাত হলেন, ত্রিভুবনে প্রসিদ্ধ। হে দ্বিজগণ, তাঁর পূজায় ক্ষয়, কুষ্ঠ প্রভৃতি রোগ বিনষ্ট হয়।
