পবিত্র ‘ওঁ’ থেকে আরম্ভ করে সদ্যোজাত প্রভৃতি পাঁচ ব্রহ্ম-মন্ত্র দ্বারা ক্রমানুসারে সংস্কার কর। তারপর সেই রথকে সুগন্ধি ফুল ও মালায় অলংকৃত কর।
