svakakṣayoḥ samālipya vyatyastābhyāmathānyayā | pāṇibhyāñca mṛdā śiṣyassumatirdṛḍhamānasaḥ

তারপর দৃঢ়চিত্ত শিষ্য সুমতি দুই হাত পরস্পর আড়াআড়ি করে, এবং অন্য হাত দিয়েও, পবিত্র মৃৎ (ভস্ম/মাটি) নিজের কক্ষদেশে (বগলে) ভক্তিভরে লেপন করিল।
