सत्त्वादिगुणसाध्यं च बुध्यादित्रितयात्मकम् । चित्तम्प्रकृतितत्त्वं तदासीत्सत्त्वादिकारणात्
sattvādiguṇasādhyaṃ ca budhyāditritayātmakam | cittamprakṛtitattvaṃ tadāsītsattvādikāraṇāt
চিত্ত প্রকৃতি-তত্ত্বের বিকার; তা সত্ত্বাদি গুণের দ্বারা উৎপন্ন এবং বুদ্ধি-আদি ত্রয়রূপ। সত্ত্বাদি গুণের কারণ-ক্রিয়াতেই তার উদ্ভব ঘটে।
