agnír hí jā́ni pū́rvyaś chándo ná sū́ro arcíṣā | té bhānúbhir ví tasthire ||
Translation
অগ্নি সত্যই প্রাচীন, জন্মজাত জ্ঞাতা—ছন্দের সূর্যসম, আপন অর্চিষ্ (শিখা) সহ। তাঁর ভানু (কিরণ) দ্বারা সেই শক্তিসমূহ বিস্তৃত হয়ে প্রকাশ পায় এবং নিজ নিজ স্থানে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়।
