Sukta 5.44
यादृगेव ददृशे तादृगुच्यते सं छायया दधिरे सिध्रयाप्स्वा । महीमस्मभ्यमुरुषामुरु ज्रयो बृहत्सुवीरमनपच्युतं सहः ॥
yādṛ́g evá dadṛ́śe tā́dṛg ucyate sáṃ chāyáyā dadhire sidhráyā ap-sv ā́ | mahī́m asmábhyam uruṣā́m urú jráyo bṛhát suvī́ram anapacyútam sáhaḥ ||
যেমন তিনি দৃষ্ট হন, তেমনই উচ্চারিত হন; আপঃ (জল)-এ ছায়ার দ্বারা তাঁকে তারা একত্র ধারণ করেছে। আমাদের জন্য মহিমা বিস্তৃত কর—উরু-ষা (প্রশস্ত রক্ষা) সহ, উরু-জ্রয়ঃ (প্রশস্ত দ্রুতবল/বেগ) সহ; বৃহৎ, সু-वीর (বীরসমৃদ্ধ), অনপচ্যুত (অচ্যুত/অটল) সহঃ (শক্তি) কর।
