Sukta 10.149
यत्रा समुद्रः स्कभितो व्यौनदपां नपात्सविता तस्य वेद । अतो भूरत आ उत्थितं रजोऽतो द्यावापृथिवी अप्रथेताम् ॥
yátrā samudráḥ skabhitó vyàunad apā́ṃ napāt savitā́ tásya veda | áto bhū́r áta ā́ utthítaṃ rájo 'to dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ aprathetām ||
যেখানে সমুদ্র, অবলম্বনে স্থাপিত হয়ে, বিস্তৃত হল—তা অপাং নপাত্ সাবিতা জানেন। সেখান থেকেই ভূর (পৃথিবী) উদ্ভূত হল; সেখান থেকেই রজঃ (বিস্তৃতি) ঊর্ধ্বে উত্তোলিত হল; সেখান থেকেই দ্যাবা-পৃথিবী প্রসারিত হল—এইভাবে সুশৃঙ্খল লোকসমূহ প্রকাশ পেল।
