अस्य शासुरुभयासः सचन्ते हविष्मन्त उशिजो ये च मर्ताः । दिवश्चित्पूर्वो न्यसादि होतापृच्छ्यो विश्पतिर्विक्षु वेधाः ॥
asyá śā́sor ubháyāsaḥ sacante havíṣmanta uśíjo yé ca mártāḥ | diváś cit pū́rvo ní asādi hótā āpṛ́cchyo viśpátiḥ víkṣu vedhā́ḥ ||
তাঁর শাসন/বিধানে উভয় প্রকারই যুক্ত হয়—হবিষ্ বহনকারী, উশিজ্ (উৎসাহী প্রজ্বালক) এবং মর্ত্যরাও। দিব্য-প্রাচীন সেই হোতৃ (হোতা) আসন গ্রহণ করেছেন—প্রশ্নযোগ্য, পরামর্শ্য; জনসমূহের মধ্যে কুলপতি, প্রজ্ঞাবান বিধাতা।
