युद्धकाण्डे अष्टमः सर्गः — राक्षससभा-युद्धपरामर्शः
War-Council Boasts and Stratagems
अद्यरामंससुग्रीवंपरिघेणसलक्ष्मणम् ।आगमिष्यामिहत्वैकोविक्षोभ्यहरिवाहिनीम् ।।6.8.11।।
adya rāmaṃ sa sugrīvaṃ parigheṇa sa lakṣmaṇam | āgamiṣyāmi hatvaiko vikṣobhya harivāhinīm ||
‘আজ আমি একাই গিয়ে লৌহপরিঘ দিয়ে রাম, সুগ্রীব ও লক্ষ্মণকে বধ করব; বানরসেনাকে ব্যাকুল করে ফিরে আসব।’
"Now I would go alone and with the iron crowbar, kill Sugriva Lakshmana and Rama and return after shattering the Vanara troops."
