कुम्भकर्णवधश्रवणेन रावणविलापः
Ravana’s Lament on Hearing of Kumbhakarna’s Slaying
एतेदेवगणास्सार्थमृषिभिर्गगनेस्थिताः ।निहतंत्वांरणेदृष्टवानिनदन्तिप्रहर्षिताः ।।।।
ete devagaṇāḥ sārtham ṛṣibhir gagane sthitāḥ |
nihataṃ tvāṃ raṇe dṛṣṭvā ninadanti praharṣitāḥ ||
দেখো—ঋষিদের সঙ্গে দেবগণ আকাশে অবস্থান করছেন; যুদ্ধে তোমাকে নিহত দেখে তারা হর্ষে উচ্চধ্বনি করে জয়ধ্বনি দিচ্ছেন।
"Having found an opportunity, all the Vanaras, highly rejoiced, on this very day, will surely climb over the gates of forts of Lanka determined."
