नैतत्किञ्चनरामस्यनचरामोमुमूर्षति ।।6.46.40।।नह्येनंहास्यतेलक्ष्मीद्दुर्लभायागतायुषाम् ।
naitat kiñcana rāmasya na ca rāmo mumūrṣati | na hy enaṃ hāsyate lakṣmīr durlabhā yā gatāyuṣām ||
এটি রামের বিষয়ে বিষণ্ণ হওয়ার কোনো কারণ নয়, আর রামের মৃত্যুও নির্ধারিত নয়। যাদের আয়ু ক্ষয়প্রাপ্ত, তাদের পক্ষে দুর্লভ শ্রী-লক্ষ্মীও রামকে পরিত্যাগ করেন না।
