यदि चेत्त्वं तु दर्पान्मां नाभिनन्दसि गर्विते।द्वौ मासावन्तरं सीते पास्यामि रुधिरं तव।।।।
yadi cet tvaṃ tu darpān māṃ nābhinandasi garvite |
dvau māsāv antaraṃ sīte pāsyāmi rudhiraṃ tava ||
হে গর্বিতা! যদি দম্ভবশে তুমি আমাকে গ্রহণ না কর, তবে হে সীতে, দুই মাসের মধ্যে আমি তোমার রক্ত দেখব।
'O Sita! if in your pride, you do not respect me, I will see (drink) your blood in two months.

Rāvaṇa escalates from persuasion to a time-bound threat, attempting to break Sītā’s resolve in captivity.
By contrast, Sītā’s unwavering fidelity is implied—her refusal provokes the threat, showing her steadfastness.
