सप्तसप्ततितमः सर्गः
Ayodhya Return, Bridal Reception, and Bharata’s Departure
रामस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा राजा दशरथ स्सुतम्।बाहुभ्यां सम्परिष्वज्य मूर्ध्नि चाघ्राय राघवम्।।1.77.5।।गतो राम इति श्रुत्वा हृष्ट: प्रमुदितो नृप:।पुनर्जातं तदा मेने पुत्रमात्मानमेव च।।1.77.6।।
gato rāma iti śrutvā hṛṣṭaḥ pramudito nṛpaḥ | punarjātaṃ tadā mene putram ātmānam eva ca || 1.77.6 ||
“রাম (পরশুরাম) চলে গেছেন”—এ কথা শুনে রাজা অত্যন্ত হৃষ্ট ও প্রমুদিত হলেন। তখন তিনি মনে করলেন, পুত্রও এবং তিনি নিজেও যেন পুনর্জন্ম লাভ করেছেন।
On hearing the words 'Parasurama has departed' from Rama, king Dasaratha embraced him and kissed his forehead. The king, immensely happy, felt he and his son were reborn.
