With unfailing regularity Rama carried out his duties towards his mothers, and his elders, looking into them from time to time.
Dharma is expressed as disciplined care: serving one’s mothers and honouring teachers/elders with timely, consistent attention—duty is not occasional but regulated.
The narration continues to describe Rama’s ideal conduct in Ayodhya, emphasizing his orderly fulfillment of family and teacher-related obligations.
Self-restraint and reliability (niyama): Rama is portrayed as steady in service, not negligent or impulsive.
