Description of Ayodhya under Daśaratha

नामृष्टभोजी नादाता नाप्यनङ्गदनिष्कधृक् ।नाहस्ताभरणो वाऽपि दृश्यते नाप्यनात्मवान् ।।1.6.11।।

nāmṛṣṭabhojī nādātā nāpy anaṅgadaniṣkadhṛk |

nāhastābharaṇo vāpi dṛśyate nāpy anātmavān ||1.6.11||

কেহই অসন্তুষ্ট হয়ে ভোজন করত না, কেহ দানহীনও ছিল না। কেহ অঙ্গদ ও নিষ্ক (কণ্ঠাভরণ) ব্যতীত, কিংবা হস্তাভরণ ব্যতীত দেখা যেত না; এবং কেহ আত্মসংযমহীনও ছিল না।
