दितेर्गर्भभङ्गो मरुत्प्रतिष्ठा च
Diti’s Severed Embryo and the स्थापना of the Maruts; Viśālā-nagara Lineage
तस्यास्तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा सहस्राक्ष: पुरन्दर:।उवाच प्राञ्जलिर्वाक्यं दितिं बलनिषूदन:।।।।
tasyās tadvacanaṃ śrutvā sahasrākṣaḥ purandaraḥ | uvāca prāñjalir vākyaṃ ditiṃ balaniṣūdanaḥ ||
তাঁহার বাক্য শ্রবণ করে সহস্রনয়ন পুরন্দর, বলনিষূদন ইন্দ্র করজোড়ে দিতিকে সম্বোধন করে এই বাক্য বলিলেন।
The thousand-eyed Indra, slayer of Bala, on hearing Diti's words, addressed her with folded palms, saying:
Respectful speech and humility before one who has been wronged; folded hands signal accountability and a dharmic move toward reconciliation.
Indra responds after hearing Diti’s request regarding the fate and roles of the divided embryos (future Maruts).
Humility—Indra approaches Diti with reverence rather than triumph.
