tasya tad-vacanaṁ śrutvā rāghavasya mahātmanaḥ | santāraṁ kārayāmāsa sar-ṛṣi-saṅghaḥ sa-rāghavaḥ ||1.45.8||
Hearing the words of noble Rama, he (Viswamitra), accompanied by hosts of sages besides Rama and Lakshmana made arrangements to cross (the river).
Dharma appears as orderly conduct under rightful guidance: the sage-leader ensures safe passage for the princes and the group, reflecting responsible stewardship.
After the boat’s arrival is announced, the group proceeds to cross; Viśvāmitra coordinates the practical arrangements.
Prudent leadership and caretaking—ensuring the welfare of companions through timely organization.
