Entry toward Viśālā and the Indra–Kṣīrodamathana Legend
तराम सरितां श्रेष्ठां पुण्यां त्रिपथगां नदीम्।।।।नौरेषा हि सुखास्तीर्णा ऋषीणां पुण्यकर्मणाम्।भगवन्तमिह प्राप्तं ज्ञात्वा त्वरितमागता।।।।
tarāma saritāṃ śreṣṭhāṃ puṇyāṃ tripathagāṃ nadīm |
naur eṣā hi sukhāstīrṇā ṛṣīṇāṃ puṇyakarmaṇām |
bhagavantam iha prāptaṃ jñātvā tvaritam āgatā ||
চল, আমরা নদীগণের শ্রেষ্ঠা, পবিত্র ত্রিপথগা গঙ্গা পার হই। এই নৌকা পুণ্যকর্মা ঋষিদের জন্য সুখে পারাপারের উপযোগী; ভগবন্, আপনি এখানে এসেছেন জেনে এটি ত্বরিতে এসে পৌঁছেছে॥
We will cross over Ganga, the best of rivers, the sacred river that flows in three directions.This boat of pious saints which is well laid-out has come here swiftly, having come to know that you, O Venerable one! have arrived".
