अश्वमेधप्रवृत्तिः
Commencement and Performance of Daśaratha’s Aśvamedha
न चाहुतमभूत्तत्र स्खलितं वापि किञ्चन ।दृश्यते ब्रह्मवत्सर्वं क्षेमयुक्तं हि चक्रिरे।।।।
na cāhutam abhūt tatra skhalitaṃ vāpi kiñcana | dṛśyate brahmavat sarvaṃ kṣema-yuktaṃ hi cakrire ||
সেই যজ্ঞে কোথাও আহুতিতে কোনো ত্রুটি বা সামান্যও স্খলন ঘটেনি। সবই মন্ত্রসমর্থিত বলে প্রতীয়মান হল; তাঁরা তা কুশলভাবে, নির্বিঘ্নে সম্পন্ন করলেন॥
There were no omissions in the offerings nor any lappes in the performance. Everything was done through recitation of mantras and in a wholesome way.
