विकुंडल उवाच । हे दूतवर पृच्छामि संशयं त्वामहं परम् । आवां जातौ कुले तुल्ये तुल्यं कर्म तथा कृतम्

বিকুণ্ডল বলল—হে শ্রেষ্ঠ দূত, আমি তোমাকে এক মহা সন্দেহ জিজ্ঞাসা করি। আমরা দু’জনই সমান কুলে জন্মেছি, এবং সমান কর্মও করেছি।
