कृष्णजन्माष्टमीं ब्रह्मन्न करोति नराधमः । इह दुःखमवाप्नोति स प्रेत्य नरकं व्रजेत्

kṛṣṇajanmāṣṭamīṃ brahmanna karoti narādhamaḥ | iha duḥkhamavāpnoti sa pretya narakaṃ vrajet

হে ব্রাহ্মণ! যে নরাধম কৃষ্ণ-জন্মাষ্টমী পালন করে না, সে এলোকে দুঃখ ভোগ করে এবং মৃত্যুর পরে নরকে যায়।
