Adhyaya 93 — The Goddess’s Boons to Suratha and the Merchant (Conclusion of the Devi Mahatmyam)
evaṃ samārādhayatos tribhir varṣair yatātmanoḥ /
parituṣṭā jagaddhātrī pratyakṣaṃ prāha caṇḍikā

Steady practice over time culminates in grace; the divine response is depicted as relational—Devī is ‘parituṣṭā’ by sustained sincerity, not momentary impulse.
Not pancalakṣaṇa; it is the climax of an upāsanā narrative used to validate Devī-worship as efficacious.
Caṇḍikā appearing ‘pratyakṣa’ indicates the fierce, transformative power of consciousness becoming directly evident when concentration and sacrifice mature.
