Adhyaya 80 — Vaivasvata Manvantara: Enumeration of Manus and the Eighth Manu Sāvarṇi
पाताल आस्ते योऽद्यापि दैत्यः समयबन्धनः ।
विरजाश्चार्ववीरश्च निर्मोहः सत्यवाक्कृतिः ।
विष्ण्वाद्याश्चैव तनयाः सावर्णस्य मनोर्नृपाः ॥
pātāla āste yo ’dyāpi daityaḥ samayabandhanaḥ / virajāś cārvavīraś ca nirmohaḥ satyavāk kṛtiḥ / viṣṇvādyāś caiva tanayāḥ sāvarṇasya manornṛpāḥ
সেই দৈত্য বলি আজও সন্ধিবদ্ধ অবস্থায় পাতালে বাস করে। বিরজ, চার্ববীর, নির্মোহ, সত্যবাক্, কৃতি এবং বিষ্ণু প্রভৃতি অন্যান্যরা—এরা সাবর্ণি মনুর পুত্র-রাজাগণ।
