कृत्रिमं च तथा दुर्गं मित्वा मित्वात्मनोऽङ्गुलैः ।
मानार्थानि प्रमाणानि तास् तु पूर्वं प्रचक्रिरे ॥
kṛtrimaṃ ca tathā durgaṃ mitvā mitvātmano 'ṅgulaiḥ | mānārthāni pramāṇāni tās tu pūrvaṃ pracakrire ||
এভাবেই তারা নিজেদের আঙুল দিয়ে মেপে কৃত্রিম দুর্গগুলির পরিমাপ করল। এবং পরিমাপ-নির্ধারণের জন্য তারা প্রথমে মাপের মানদণ্ড (প্রমাণ) স্থির করল।
