गुरोः कर्मणि सोद्योगः सम्यक् प्रीत्युपपादनम् ।
तेनाहूतः पठेच्चैव तत्परो नान्यमानसः ॥
guroḥ karmaṇi sodyogaḥ samyak prītyupapādanam | tenāhūtaḥ paṭhec caiva tatparo nānyamānasaḥ ||
সে গুরুর কাজে তৎপর থাকবে এবং যথাযথভাবে গুরুর সন্তোষ সাধন করবে। গুরুর আহ্বানে সে একাগ্রচিত্তে, অন্য মনোভাব ত্যাগ করে অধ্যয়ন/পাঠ করবে।
