एष वृद्धाननाथांश्व पड्गूनन्धांश्व मानवान् । पुत्रवत् पालयामास प्रजा धर्मेण वै विभु:
eṣa vṛddhān anāthāṁś ca paṅgūn andhāṁś ca mānavān | putravat pālayāmāsa prajā dharmeṇa vai vibhuḥ ||
এই পরাক্রমশালী রাজা প্রজাদের মধ্যে বৃদ্ধ, অনাথ, পঙ্গু ও অন্ধদেরও স্নেহভরে রক্ষা করতেন। ধর্মের পথে তিনি নিজের সন্তানের মতোই প্রজাদের পালন-পোষণ করতেন।
