यक्षने पूछा--अकेला कौन विचरता है? एक बार उत्पन्न होकर पुन: कौन उत्पन्न होता है? शीतकी ओषधि क्या है? और महान् आवपन (क्षेत्र) क्या है? ।। युधिछिर उवाच सूर्य एको विचरते चन्द्रमा जायते पुनः । अग्निर्हिमस्य भैषज्यं भूमिरावपनं महत्,युधिष्ठिर बोले--सूर्य अकेला विचरता है, चन्द्रमा एक बार जन्म लेकर पुनः जन्म लेता है, अग्नि शीतकी ओषधि है और पृथ्वी बड़ा भारी आवपन है
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | sūrya eko vicarate candramā jāyate punaḥ | agnir himasya bhaiṣajyaṁ bhūmir āvāpanaṁ mahat ||
যুধিষ্ঠির বললেন—সূর্য একাই বিচরণ করে; চন্দ্র জন্ম নিয়ে বারবার পুনর্জন্ম লাভ করে; অগ্নি শীতের ঔষধ; আর পৃথিবীই মহৎ আবপন—অর্থাৎ মহাবিস্তৃত কর্মক্ষেত্র।
