दर्श च पौर्णमासं च यस्य तिछेत्‌ प्रतिष्ठितम्‌ । इष्टिरष्टाकपालेन कार्या पथिकृतेडग्नये

Transliteration

darśaṁ ca paurṇamāsaṁ ca yasya tiṣṭhet pratiṣṭhitam | iṣṭir aṣṭākapālena kāryā pathikṛte 'gnaye ||

Translation

মার্কণ্ডেয় বললেন—যার দর্শ ও পৌর্ণমাস যজ্ঞবিধি যথাবিধি প্রতিষ্ঠিত, সে মাটির আট কপালে সংস্কৃত হবি প্রস্তুত করে ‘পথিকৃত্’ নামক অগ্নির উদ্দেশে ইষ্টি করবে।
