भद्रवटगमनम् — स्कन्देन महिषदानवनिग्रहः
Bhadravaṭa Procession and Skanda’s Neutralization of Mahiṣa
बाहुभ्यामनुदात्तौ च विश्वे भूतानि चैव ह । एतान् सृष्टवा ततः पठच पितृणामसृजत् सुतान्
bāhubhyām anudāttau ca viśve bhūtāni caiva ha | etān sṛṣṭvā tataḥ paṭhaca pitṝṇām asṛjat sutān ||
মার্কণ্ডেয় বললেন—তিনি দুই বাহু থেকে প্রাকৃত ও বৈকৃত ভেদযুক্ত দুই অনুদাত্তকে, মন ও জ্ঞানেন্দ্রিয়সমূহের অধিষ্ঠাত্রী দেবতাদের সমষ্টিকে এবং পঞ্চ মহাভূতকে সৃষ্টি করলেন। এ সকল সৃষ্টি করে পরে তিনি পিতৃদের জন্যও পুত্রদের জন্ম দিলেন।
