भद्रवटगमनम् — स्कन्देन महिषदानवनिग्रहः
Bhadravaṭa Procession and Skanda’s Neutralization of Mahiṣa
बहिर्वेद्यां तदादानं कुशलै: सम्प्रवर्तितम् । तदेते नोपसर्पन्ति यत्र चाग्नि: स्थितो भवेत्
bahirvedyāṁ tadādānaṁ kuśalaiḥ sampravartitam | tad ete nopasarpanti yatra cāgniḥ sthito bhavet ||
মার্কণ্ডেয় বললেন—এইজন্য যজ্ঞে দক্ষ আচার্যরা বাহ্য বেদীতে তাদের জন্য নির্ধারিত অংশ স্থাপনের প্রথা চালু করেছেন; কারণ যেখানে অগ্নি প্রতিষ্ঠিত থাকে, সেখানে এই বিনায়করা নিকটবর্তী হয় না।
