कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

निर्गतो5हमकामस्तु इच्छया ते महाप्रभो । इच्छामि पुण्डरीकाक्ष ज्ञातुं त्वाहमनिन्दितम्
nirgato ’ham akāmas tu icchayā te mahāprabho | icchāmi puṇḍarīkākṣa jñātuṁ tvāham aninditam ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন— “মহাপ্রভো! আমার নিজের কোনো কামনা না থাকলেও, কেবল আপনার ইচ্ছাতেই আমি বাইরে বেরিয়ে এসেছি। পদ্মনয়ন! দেবগণের মধ্যে অনিন্দ্য ও শ্রেষ্ঠ আপনাকে আমি জানতে চাই।”
