नारदेन गरुडात्मजानां नामकीर्तनम् | Nārada’s Enumeration of Garuḍa’s Descendants

निवातकवचा नाम दानवा युद्धदुर्मदा: । जानासि च यथा शक्रो नैतान्‌ शकनोति बाधितुम्‌

nivātakavacā nāma dānavā yuddha-durmadāḥ | jānāsi ca yathā śakro naitān śaknoti bādhitum ||

এখানে ‘নিবাতকবচ’ নামক দানবেরা বাস করে, যারা যুদ্ধে উন্মত্ত হয়ে লড়ে। তুমি তো জানোই, শক্র (ইন্দ্র) পর্যন্ত এদের দমন বা প্রতিহত করতে সক্ষম নন।
