Pātāla-varṇana (Nārada’s Description of the Netherworld) / पातालवर्णनम्
बहून्यद्धुतरूपाणि द्रष्टव्यानीह मातले | तव कार्यावरो धस्तु तस्माद् गच्छाव मा चिरम्
bahūny adbhutarūpāṇi draṣṭavyānīha mātale | tava kāryāvarodhas tu tasmād gacchāva mā ciram, mātale ||
কণ্ব বললেন—হে মাতলি! এই বরুণলোকে দেখবার মতো বহু আশ্চর্য দৃশ্য আছে। কিন্তু সব দেখতে গেলে বিলম্ব হবে এবং তোমার কর্তব্যে বিঘ্ন ঘটবে; অতএব, হে মাতলি, আর দেরি না করে চলো—নাগলোকে অগ্রসর হই।
