Pātāla-varṇana (Nārada’s Description of the Netherworld) / पातालवर्णनम्
भवन वारुणं पश्य यदेतत् सर्वकाउ्चनम् । यत् प्राप्य सुरतां प्राप्ता: सुरा: सुरपते: सखे
bhavan vāruṇaṁ paśya yad etat sarva-kāñcanam | yat prāpya suratāṁ prāptāḥ surāḥ surapateḥ sakhe, mahendra-mitra |
হে মহেন্দ্র-মিত্র! দেখো, এটাই বরুণদেবের ভবন—চারিদিকে সম্পূর্ণ স্বর্ণময়। হে দেবাধিপতির সখা, এই স্থানে পৌঁছেই দেবগণ সত্যার্থে দেবত্ব লাভ করে।
