अध्याय ८ — शल्यस्य सत्कारः, वरदानं, पाण्डवसमागमश्च (Śalya’s Reception, the Boon, and Meeting the Pāṇḍavas)
सर्व जगदिदं तात विदितं ते परंतप । दिष्ट्या कृच्छुमिदं राजन् पारितं भरतर्षभ
sarva jagad idaṃ tāta viditaṃ te parantapa | diṣṭyā kṛcchum idaṃ rājan pāritaṃ bharatarṣabha ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—তাত! পরন্তপ! এই সমগ্র জগতের তত্ত্ব তোমার জানা। হে রাজন, ভরতশ্রেষ্ঠ! সৌভাগ্য যে তুমি এই কঠিন সংকট অতিক্রম করেছ।
